Sometimes we make a musical discovery that makes us really, really happy – Rekchampa is one such discovery. Splicing a myriad of classic R&B samples over his glacial 2 step beats, this Atlanta-bred producer is making big waves across the atlantic. We hope he will be touring the UK soon!

Made available through his Soundcloud & Bandcamp pages, Ghostek offers up this free 3 track EP. Haunting and dark beats a plenty with some great synths and trademark crackles. Absolutely loving this style of 2-step. Not to be missed.

2 free downloads this week, both coming out of the shadows with some deep and creeping soundscapes.

First up is a track put forward as part of the Dispatch Recordings Octane and DLR sample pack competition. 40 samples were offered up for producers to make use of and Method One by Kaiju is a big favourite of us here on the Robot Bodypop.

TZR has fast become a favourite producer of ours featuring on the past couple of shows. Deep vibes and forward thinking electronic music makes this Seattle resident one of the scenes most progressive artists. Teaming up with the prolific FatKidOnFire boys they bring forward this fresh mix featuring some of TZRs finest cuts.
