With releases on mighty labels such as BlackBox, Subway and Wheel & Deal, UK producer Killawatt in conjunction with FatKidOnFire offers up this free EP of 4 dark and moody rollers. ‘Narco’ has a rhythmic tribal feel while ‘A New Direction’ has a more glitchy futuristic vibe. ‘Take A Step Back’ is a deep stepper and its all rounded off nicely with the ambient twist of ‘Slow Motion’. Manchester based producer Qualmsound is devleloping a deep and atmospheric signature sound evident on his new release entitled ‘Genesis EP’ out on Soulstep Records. Uplifiting soundscapes with a dolly mixture of synths and heavy subs make this a release not to be slept on. ‘Breath’ harks back to early dubstep vibes while ‘Etheral’ has positive and bright vibes to carry you through. Breath then gets the remix treatment by Blynk. Hearing is believing. Bag it now from Juno Records.
