Voice Hands Machine – Cold Jam EP | Forthcoming Slime Recordings

New from the prolific Slime imprint comes a fresh Parisian producer by the name of Voice Hands Machine with the ‘Cold Jam’ EP. This polished and swanky pop track is subject to bass heavy juke and deep house reworks from Jack The Hustler & mad:AM respectively. We fully expect all three tracks to become regular players so take our recommendation and cop it. ¬†You can grab this from Juno exclusively from the 21st.

Purity Ring – Shrines

Despite a distinct lack of guitars and long hair, Purity Ring are being touted for one of the best new bands this year. If anybody caught on to ‘Lofticries’ and ‘Obedear’ in April they will have just a small idea of what to expect from this long awaited debut album. Fans of SBTRKT and Jakwob will love this for the musical synth driven beats, fans of Little Dragon for the beautifully shaded vocals which take us on a thought provoking journey through euphoric electro vibes. Definitely worth copping when it drops on the 24th.

Amon Tobin – ISAM

This is one spectacular live show – If this guy drops into your town you would be a complete moron of a fool to miss out. Well, he was in London last November and we were totally unawares – So imagine how we must feel. Just look at it. ūüė¶

We can only hope that there is a Manchester date in the offing some day soon. Badness!!

Eliphino – More Than Me EP

Following on from realeases on Manchester based Hoya Hoya and Giles Peterson’s Brownswood label, London based producer/dj – Eliphino – has found his finest form to date with this new EP ‘More Than Me’. Low down, deep and dirty house music for the clubs, released on limited edition vinyl via somethinksounds on Oct 31st. The full EP features three low slung dancefloor bangers – ‘More Than Me’, ‘Devoted’ and ‘I-Played’ – fuzzy, warm and atmospheric. Eliphino switches up the style but never fails to dazzle.

The hype has been building for the past 3 months for this,¬†Eliphino’s¬†most recent release on Some Think Records.¬†The vaguely anthemic title track sets us up nicely for the late night club¬†vibes on¬†I Played and the deep yet catchy 2step¬†flavours¬†of the final track Devoted which features on this weeks show. One for the bag which will be rocking many a club dancefloor for months to come. Preview below, then buy.
