Phaeleh – Christmas Gifts

He’s a nice lad, that Phaeleh. Always bringing the deep bass vibes, when it comes to workrate Phaeleh is a clear front runner and he’s always quick to bust out a freebie from his extensive arsenal. This liittle package of Mp3 and FLAC files is most welcome and has got us feeling all christmassy. Broken is a hard edged steppy number, Lykasea is on a mellow vibe and Natural Feeling is an emotive melodic track with a beautifully sampled vocal. Well worth the click. Grab them all! Merry Christmas!

Lunova Labs

A very strong free download from this US producer. With Paradise (to be) Regained featured on last weeks Robot Bodypop show, its easier to let the people over at Silenced Music do the talking for this free 4 track EP!

Let’s call this future garage? There’s a piano, syncopated rhythms, beat-skipping kick drums and spaced out vocal samples.
Lunova Labs (USA) made this release purposefully for the Silenced netlabel. It was inspired by a philosophical movement, called transcendentalism, which developed in the 19th century. Among the transcendentalists’ core beliefs was the inherent goodness of both man and nature. Transcendentalists believed that society and its institutions – particularly organized religion and political parties – ultimately corrupted the purity of the individual. They had faith that man is at his best when truly “self-reliant” and independent. Each song is titled off of a piece of work written by some of the leading figures of the movement.
The album breaths spirituality and mystery. I dare you to hit the repeat button. You’ll find yourself back on the moon.

Well put. Pick this up!

Mr Skank Sinatra

Young producer Dan Clapham aka Mr Skank Sinatra is but one of the young producing talents from Manchester and after only producing for a little over a year he is celebrating his first release. ‘You’re Right Here’, featured on the Robot Bodypop show, got a release this month on Morbit Records and we are loving it. Classy dubstep vibes on this cut with a remix on the flip are hopefully a taster of whats to come. There’s also a serious amount of freebies on his Soundcloud which show that this chap is capable of carving his own sound with future-led beats alongside root sounding dubs. We’re excited to keep an eye on his future projects.

Also forthcoming is ‘Herbalist’ which is a deep and relaxed roller. Check it out along with everything else
