Lando Kal – Maneuver/Run It (Rush Hour)

One half of the bay area future hip hop team Lazer Sword, Lando Kal’s solo work is an altogether different kettle of bass.

Dense instrumentation, analog synth and drum machine work, complex melodies, and creeping basslines are pooled from his musical obsessions with 90’s RnB, classic house, freestyle, garage, Detroit Techno, early synthesizer music, Timbaland, and… to be honest, everything in between.

Check out this innovative release on Rush Hour Records. Vinyl well worth a space in your collection!

Also peep this – a sick collaboration with london MC’s the Foreign Beggars. It’s tracks like these that put Lando Kal amongst the most innovative of his generation.

Kasket – Doesn’t Matter What They Say About Us

Kasket coming from the south brings vibes with his music. Ranging from heavy bass weight to abstract soundscape, with being signed to Diamind Records this year and his forthcoming full length CD album and first vinyl release coming out things seem to be growing for kasket. One to watch out for in the future.

Check his free tune ‘Doesn’t Matter What They Say About Us‘ and lock eyes onto his Soundcloud for forthcoming releases.

Teknian – Isolation EP

One of the hottest new talents surfacing from Sweden, Teknian’s productions are gritty, deep, loud and downright dirty all at once – Yet in amongst the chaos this young Scandinavian’s attention to detail can send chills down your spine. Check out this forthcoming release on Screwloose Records to see what I mean.

We are tipping Teknian for huge things in the near future and with his unique brand of deep distorted dubstep we are keen to see just where he takes it. His first free release, the Isolation EP, is available for free download now courtesy of Martian Bass Records. Bag it or be damned. Download here.
