Brummie producer KLRGRM offers up this free E.P for download via Facebook. 3 bangers on here and the title track is a sweet dancefloor cut with some sub shaking bass alongside tough vocals. One to watch most definitely.

With releases on mighty labels such as BlackBox, Subway and Wheel & Deal, UK producer Killawatt in conjunction with FatKidOnFire offers up this free EP of 4 dark and moody rollers. ‘Narco’ has a rhythmic tribal feel while ‘A New Direction’ has a more glitchy futuristic vibe. ‘Take A Step Back’ is a deep stepper and its all rounded off nicely with the ambient twist of ‘Slow Motion’. A favorite of the Robot Bodypop, keep your eyes on Killawatt.
Qualmsound – Genesis EP
Manchester based producer Qualmsound is devleloping a deep and atmospheric signature sound evident on his new release entitled ‘Genesis EP’ out on Soulstep Records. Uplifiting soundscapes with a dolly mixture of synths and heavy subs make this a release not to be slept on. ‘Breath’ harks back to early dubstep vibes while ‘Etheral’ has positive and bright vibes to carry you through. Breath then gets the remix treatment by Blynk. Hearing is believing. Bag it now from Juno Records.

District – Haymaker/ 3.5 Grams [CHST013]
Newly released on the mighty Chestplate label, Districts latest cut is a monster 12″. Deep bass and a weighty groove make this debut release a must-get. With the creepy and twisted metal sounds of Haymaker on one side and 3.5 Grams on the flip offering a more sparse and darker vibe this is probably my favourite 12″ of the last few months. Big things to come in future from District I’m sure if this is any kind of a taster. Bag it.

Forthcoming on the highly anticipated Camo & Krooked album thats dropping on the 3rd October on Hospital records, Skittles gets in the studio with the duo and between them they conjour up a storming dancefloor cut. With Manchester MC Skittles trademark wordplay alongside two of the UK’s freshest producers this is only one reason to pick up the album. As if you need another.
