This Leeds based future dub outfit go from strength to strength, constantly evolving and developing their sound  whilst sticking with a style that is distinctly their own – no easy feat with many artists struggling to keep the ideas flowing after their first release – yet this is Paper Tiger‘s third convincing outing to date and each is an improvement on the last. Back with Mancunian label Mind On Fire this trippy, perfectly syncopated and bright release draws on dub and funky house influences and hits all the right buttons. You’ll have to excuse us for sleeping on this one a little while. We have been fans of Paper Tiger for well over 2 years now since catching a couple of their live shows in Manchester, and somehow this debut EP had escaped our attention until last month when it was uploaded to soundcloud.

Apologies aside, these guys are something a bit special. A future hip-hop and dubstep crew hailing from Leeds, Paper Tiger fuse electronic beats and synthesisers with live instrumentation, at times laced with the lyrical talents of MC Raphael Attar.
